7 Reasons the 21st Century is Making You Miserable

Pretty self-explanatory title. As absurd and hackneyed as it sounds, I think this piece spot on.

It is hard for anyone to have friends or any real social network when you leave your apt on average once every three days for two minutes ;)

Besides, I'm studying for my comprehensives: I have an excuse!

All jokes aside, in general, I do notice a difference with my generation and that of my older sibling, who is only 6 years my senior. One cannot doubt the difference between those who grew up in the 70s and 80s and the facebook/instant messenger generation. Using facebook at 40 doesn't count. What I mean by the latter generation is that they grew up using it and is therefore an inextricable part of them.
