Dr. Phil

I don't watch the show, but I saw this humorous clip online today: Dr. Phil invited the creater of Bum Fights on the show ostensibly to "figure him out." I am aware of the Bum Fights series, although I've never seen one, but I think the creater of the series did well to expose Dr. Phil as a hypocrite. First, this was clearly a set-up: why on earth would Dr. Phil invite him to the show with no intention of talking to him? Listen to what the guest says near the very end: he's dead on.

I thought it was a bit suspect too. Dr. Phil always claims to thoroughly review the background information about his guests before speaking with them. I don't believe that he didn't know what this about before he got the guy up on the stage.

two points...

dr phil kicked of the bum fights creator because that guy shaved the top. in essence, he stole phil's "look." normally, stealing a guy's "look" is a good thing, unless you are a bald guy like phil, and then you know someone is mocking you.

second, the entire concept reminds me of the "bum school" you were talking about. now is the time for you to submit your case to the canadian government for a massive grant in order for you to live out your dream of teaching bums proper etiquette.

"you deserve it man" (quote that piouslabours would enjoy)

Proof positive that the main difference between a horse-hole and an ass-hole is the volume of material released. The owner of the latter at least doesn't prance about pretending to be a noble steed.
